Sunderland Pride of Place Project Photo Competition Winners

The Caravan Gallery is pleased to announce the winners of the Sunderland Pride of Place Photo Competition. The selection was made from over 100 photographs by the judging panel consisting of representatives from Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art (NGCA), North East Photography Network (NEPN) and The Caravan Gallery.

The first prize went to Jo Howell who received a copy of our latest hardback publication, extra{ordinary} - Photographs of Britain by The Caravan Gallery.

There were three joint 2nd prizes! Paul A Knox, Andy Laycock and Susie Houghton who each received a copy of our Is Britain Great? 3 publication. Congratulations to all our winners!

Also a selection of our favourite photographs that best fitted the brief (and reached by general consensus of the judging panel), were exhibited in the Sunderland Pride of Place Project space. The photographs were printed courtesy of the Northern Centre for Photography at the University of Sunderland.
